Ordering Procedure

Subscribing to Chest Online is a 2-step process:

First, you must follow your usual "new serial" ordering procedures to subscribe to the paper version of Chest, ISSN 0012-3692, which also provides access to the online version, or institutions may choose to subscribe to Chest Online only with no print subscription. Costs are listed here, and payment should be made to your subscription agent or directly to ACCP. In addition, you must agree to our Terms and Conditions. Some subscriptions, such as consortia or site licenses, may require a signed agreement with specific terms. Please inquire if you seek a consortia or site license subscription.

Second, once your serial vendor or ACCP has received payment, you will receive a letter with instructions for obtaining access to the World Wide Web edition; the letter will direct you to an online form. You will be asked to provide the following information necessary to activate your subscription to Chest Online:

Institution's IP Address(es)

READ IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT IP ADDRESSES

Contact name, title, phone, fax, and email

Customer number (included with the letter)

We will send you the address of this Web form and instructions for filling it out after we verify payment. Your institution will not have access to the full Chest Online until you complete this second step.

If you are having access problems...

Access to Chest Online is now restricted to subscribers of the journal. Depending on your type of subscription, a letter or email has been sent out instructing subscribers on how to sign on to the online journal. If you are having difficulties in accessing the material, please read the following instructions:

If you are subscribing to Chest directly through ACCP (not using a subscription agent), please contact us using the Feedback link at the top of this page or contact us at (800) 343-2227 or (847) 498-1400 or fax us to the attention of ACCP Member Services at (847) 498-5460 and we will try to assist you. Make sure that the subscription ID number we provided you with is available.

If you are subscribing to Chest through a subscription agent please contact them for assistance, or if they are unable to assist you please contact us using the Feedback link at the top of this page or give us a call at (800) 343-2227 or (847-498-1400 or fax us to the attention of ACCP Member Services at (847) 498-5460 and we will try to assist you. Make sure that the subscriber ID number we provided you with is available.

If you are subscribing to Chest through a subscription agent and the issues are being sent to them at their collection place, please contact your subscription agent and ask them to assist you, or if they cannot assist you, please ask them to provide us with documentation that identifies you as a subscriber. Without documentation, you will not be identified as a paid subscriber and we will not be able to help you from our office.
