Adult Cor Triatriatum; Preoperative Identification and Successful Correction

Hemodynamic and angiographic demonstration of a fenestrated anomalous left atrial membrane identified cor triatriatum in a young man with exertional dyspnea and hemoptysis. Present and previous experience emphasizes the need for accurate diagnosis and prompt excision of this rare, frequently fatal, yet easily correctable, congenital obstruction of pulmonary venous outflow.
