Evalution of the Hypertensive Patient

Ray W. Gifford Jr. M.D., F.C.C.P.1

1 Cleveland Clinic Foundation, Cleveland, Ohio

The concept of " second look" is advocated for those patients whose hypertension fails to respond to conventional therapy. Finally, the medical profession must not only accept, but take a leadership role in training allied health professional personnel to assist in the evaluation and treatment of hypertensive patients.
